Spelling without restrictions! Free-range beads move about the play area subject only to the laws of physics. Use your linguistic prowess to skillfully select words that will cause the beads to fall into position to make even longer words. Do not, and its game over. Do, and youll be rewarded with bonuses and gifts from above!

String words together with touching beads and earn points and tokens for every word spelled. Bonuses are available for words with five or more letters and words longer than four letters return the same number of beads, so you can keep on spelling.

Tokens are used to acquire the five Power Beads, which can help you in your spelling quests:

STIR: Dont like your bead arrangement? Give them a stir.

ADD 5: Running low on beads? Add some more.

MOLE: Pesky, useless beads piling up? Summon the MOLE to tunnel through and destroy them. New ones will replace them.

SWAP: Need to swap two beads to spell a word? Swap Power can help.

JUMP: Need to cross your word, or is the letter you desire not touching? Jump Power is for you.

WordBeads contains four play modes for you to explore, each with different physics:

SANDPILE: sand grains on the beach. High friction beads that can form bridges and towers.

SUBMARINE: Underwater air bubbles struggle to reach the surface.

POPCORN: Kernels that pop! Use the popping kernels to blast un-popped kernels into position for even longer words.

RAINDROPS: The water cycle in action! Use the bottom beads before they drain away. Fret not if they do for rain will replenish what has drained away.

Scores for each mode are separate but tokens and Power Beads are shared between the modes.
